CHICAGO (April 16, 2019) – The Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA) today announced the winners of their annual “20 Women in Business Leadership” recognition program. CBD’s Co-CEO and President, Liz Brohan, was among those receiving the prestigious award, which honors the winners’ extraordinary contributions to their communities and companies.
SLMA CEO, James Obermayer, said “This is the ninth year of this leadership recognition program and the twenty women selected by the judges have many things in common. They have strong business accomplishments, service on business and non-profit boards, and a record of giving back to their communities and industries. Many are speakers, writers, and authors. Brohan’s accomplishments certainly reflect those qualities, not only in her position at CBD Marketing but in her leadership on non-profit boards, including at Governors State University, and her many years with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). She also works tirelessly on behalf of her profession, speaking at national conferences and was recently named “Direct Response Marketer of the Year” by the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing (CADM).
