CHICAGO (September 14, 2020) – It doesn’t get any better than Gold during awards season. That’s what Colman Brohan & Davis, Inc. (CBD Marketing) captured for its B2B media relations work for Rabobank in the Publicity Club of Chicago’s 61st Annual Golden Trumpet Awards this month.
The agency’s engagement with Rabobank, a leading global agri-finance institution, is featured on the CBD Marketing website. With a goal of lifting awareness of the bank with key audiences, results included consistently high levels of coverage in top financial and business media, such as the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg, Financial Times and the New York Times. The agency also targeted business writers at influential outlets such as USA Today, CNBC and the Associated Press.
During the one-year period measured for this award season, the agency arranged 91 interviews for Rabobank analysts and executives resulting in 66 earned media placements, including in all of the targeted top outlets. Impressions totaled more than 500,000,000 for the year, not including syndicated pickups.
The agency’s entry for the Blue Diamond Almonds “New Frontiers" protein powder campaign won a Silver in the Integrated Marketing Communications category. The campaign involved paid, earned and owned media components working together to support this new product. Earned media pitching generated scores of articles and media mentions in dozens of trade and business publications.
