CHICAGO (March 18, 2021) – Colman Brohan & Davis, Inc. (CBD Marketing) is starting the year off strong with promotions and hiring across departments and service areas.
Thor Rudebek, promoted to Senior Copywriter from Copywriter. Since joining CBD Marketing in early 2020, Thor has made significant creative contributions to the full range of the agency’s accounts—from the largest, multi-channel clients to single project initiatives and new business. Prior to CBD Marketing, Thor worked as a marketing copywriter at Trustmark and as a health consultant and referral specialist for Northwestern Medicine. He is a graduate of Northwestern University with a B.A. in Communication.
Kristen Whitney, promoted to Integrated Content Specialist from Senior Account Executive, PR and Social Media. In her four years at the agency, Kristen has developed and executed strategic content programs for national and global brands incorporating news items, blogs, articles, social media and long-form reports. She is also highly skilled in online listening and analytics related to content initiatives. Kristen holds a B.A. in Business from Lake Forest College.
Joe Harvey, promoted to Account Executive from Account Coordinator. Joe has worked primarily on the agency’s largest account since joining CBD Marketing last year. Prior to CBD, he worked at Slack & Company in a similar account services role. Joe is a recent graduate of Loyola University, Chicago, with B.A. degrees in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communications, as well as Theater.
Sarah Schwerdt, promoted to Account Executive from Account Coordinator. Prior to joining CBD Marketing late last year, Sarah worked in market research at Competiscan. She holds a B.S.in Industrial Distribution and International Business from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Chelsea Chamberlain joins CBD Marketing as a Senior Account Executive. Most recently, she was an account executive at Havas Chicago and started her career in account services at Slack & Company. Chelsea has experience managing B2B and B2C accounts in categories that align with CBD’s client roster. She’s a graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan, with a B.A. in Management.
