CHICAGO (September 16, 2020) – Outstanding collaboration is at the heart of a major creative award win for Colman Brohan & Davis, Inc. (CBD Marketing) and the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Engineering. CBD Marketing’s designers worked closely with the College of Engineering’s communications team to earn a prestigious Silver in the 2020 Summit International Awards for the school’s RISE magazine.
A new publication, RISE was designed as part of a complete visual communications system that could be applied to a variety of print and digital collateral pieces.
The magazine is issued quarterly and appeals to potential and current students as well as important stakeholders like alumni and donors. Its templated format is clean and contemporary, building on color themes and photographic elements that convey the energy and excitement of attending this world-class program in the heart of Chicago. Stories and special sections highlight current work and research happening at the College through six departments focusing on different engineering disciplines and specialties.
