Looking for a passionate Copywriter for a part-time, temp gig. Must have B2B experience – both long- and short-form – with a great attention to detail. Approximately 20-25 hours per week. Experience in Building/Home Products a plus.

The Copywriter gets inside of people’s heads – finding “what’s meaningful” to myriad audiences and inciting them to action. It also requires bringing both B2B and B2C clients the caliber of ideas they just can’t get anywhere else. With the bigger picture always in mind, the Copywriter sets out to distinguish our clients from the competition.

This role requires the ability to think both creatively and strategically to solve often complex business problems. Depending on the project at hand, the Copywriter may execute projects in partnership with art directors and designers across print, broadcast and digital media. They will also have opportunities to work with the Executive Creative Director and Senior Copywriter, as well as our VP of Digital Strategy.

  • Must have a working knowledge of writing within Wikis and WordPress
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the differences between writing for digital vs. traditional – the restrictions, considerations (ie – subject line length) of the digital genre
  • Bring new and exciting technology and creative ideas to the agency
  • Interface and collaborate effectively with production team to create copy for specific areas on internal web site
  • Express a desire and entry level capability of writing for Social Media channels

Details, Details

  • Work to implement client changes and ensure that each one has been made
  • Proofread all final copy to ensure accuracy
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects at once, staying within time and budgetary parameters
  • Work with designers and account teams to ensure that concepts and overall copy deliver on the creative brief objectives
  • Discuss content, format, style, audience, organization and budgetary considerations with fellow team members
  • Stay informed on industries and issues that are important and relevant to our clients’ businesses, and determines what impact the digital landscape is having on clients’ businesses
  • Track time on a daily basis within accounting software

Computer Skills
