Mobile Marketer’s Mickey Khan speaks at CBD’s invitation-only “Accelerate” forum
Friday, March 19th 2010
Mickey Khan, the editor-in-chief of Mobile Marketer, will be the guest of Colman Brohan Davis (CBD) at their “Accelerate” forum on Tuesday, May 4. Khan was an early champion of mobile marketing and has chronicled its evolution as an exciting mainstream channel. Mobile Marketer has become the authoritative news publication covering mobile marketing, media and commerce.
Khan’s appearance continues the series of “Accelerate” events hosted by CBD to feature marketing thought leaders and topics across industry sectors and channels. The events are planned as invitation-only forums, including webinars. On the following day, May 5, Khan will appear on a mobile marketing panel at the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing’s “Results 2010” Conference. The panel is being led by CBD’s VP of Integrated Media Strategies, Dick Strassburger.
“We are thrilled to have an industry leader like Mickey Khan as our ‘Accelerate’ forum presenter and to host this timely event,” said CBD’s Co-CEO Liz Brohan. “How best to incorporate mobile is on every marketer’s mind. And personally inviting an audience that we know has an interest in the topic—and limiting the size—means we’ll have plenty of opportunity for interaction between the speaker and our guests.”
Mickey Alam Khan is well known in the marketing community. Before starting Mobile Marketer in 2007, he was editor-in-chief of eMarketer, and prior to that, editor-in-chief at DM News, where he also covered stories for the publication’s sibling, iMarketing News. Khan has also worked as a foreign correspondent for Advertising Age.
