CBD’s Liz Brohan a keynote presenter at IPA Leadership Conference

Monday, January 4th 2010

The International Premedia Association (IPA) has tapped Colman Brohan Davis President and Co-CEO Liz Brohan as a keynote speaker for their Annual Leadership Conference, February 4 - 6 in Scottsdale, AZ. Brohan will keynote day two of the conference with her presentation, “Lead Gen to Gen Y: Preparing for the New B2B Buyer.”

The conference brings together executive management from the creative, premedia and print communities to share knowledge around marketing and cross-media communications. This year’s theme is “360 Degree Marketing Execution.”

Brohan’s presentation includes original research on the next generation of managers, the tech-savvy children of baby boomers. She’ll present insights from a survey of over 300 Gen Y managers, all under age 30. The survey mapped their buying process and ranked the online, offline and word-of-mouth channels they use when purchasing business products and services. Colman Brohan Davis co-sponsored the survey, which was conducted by E-RM Research and Peanut Labs.

“Gen Y managers are fast becoming key influencers and decision-makers—companies cannot market to them in the same old way,” notes Brohan. “Mapping their decision process provides important information on their motivational drivers as well as the media preferences and habits that impact how they buy.”

In addition to insights from the survey, Brohan will include examples of IBM campaigns that engage this group presented by Pamela Ansley Evans, Global Web Marketing Manager, IBM Software Group. Later in the day, Brohan will also moderate an interactive discussion on “New and Emerging Media.”
